Final Cut Pro 4 and The Art of Filmmaking • Sybex

This project was a redesign based on an existing cover. The only design requirements were to use the same font for the title and of course for the SYBEX signature red to be emphasized. I used some existing amusement park images as a jumping off point, and took my own photos at a couple of local fairs. I emphasized motion in the images, and featured two favorites, the Zipper and the YoYo. I played off a couple of the original graphic forms and expanded on them to create a vibrant, dynamic cover.
