The idea is to create a mandala for every letter of the alphabet using toys and other objects that children would use and\/or recognize. I love tin toys so the tin toy esthetic is used quite a bit. The blue-sky goal is to have the collection published as a children&#8217;s book. The R mandala includes race-cars, a record, rockets, a ruler, a reflector and a rainbow. Some objects, like the round ruler, involve a bit of artistic license \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>The Lotus race-car is modeled after an orange Matchbox Lotus racer that I have owned since I was a kid. I matched the textures including the chipped paint and scratched tires, and varied the paint jobs (with different paint chips) and numbering for the other cars.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Letter R Mandala This is part of my ABCs mandala project.
