The homepage is designed to give an overview of Interferry&#8217;s history and goals for the future. The header image plays off the international aspect and uses a mosaic of ferries from member&#8217;s fleets as well images from recent conferences. Two large parallax image sections display vessels in the fleets of conference hosts and conference venues. Both parallax sections use a custom plug-in that selects images randomly from two galleries of the past six conferences \u2013 vessels and venues respectively \u2013 which helps keep the homepage fresh.<\/p>\n<p>The website works together with Interferry&#8217;s membership software so members can join and pay dues online, access the member only features including a searchable member directory and update their profile including company contacts. The Interferry News works with MailChimp to automatically email new posts.<\/p>\n<p>The site includes comprehensive Communications and Regulatory Affairs sections, as well as a Conference section which highlights conference photos and speaker presentations in video format as well as PDF.
