Shawnigan Residents Association billboard
10’x24′ and 10’x20′
The Shawnigan Residents Association is currently fighting the location and operation of a toxic soil remediation site above the lake. After exploring some options for the design, including depicting tainted water, I suggested going with the idea of using clear water in a drinking glass which might appear safe but could contain dangerous chemicals. The design was very successful, and the association used the concept for other marketing materials. The clean design makes it easy to read and the viewer gets the concept quickly. The client credited this design for raising $20,000 within the first two weeks that the two locations were in the air.
